When will the necessary infrastructure for charging electric vehicles be available?

Even today, there is a network of more than 5500 publicly accessible charging stations in Germany, which continues to expand. These charging stations are being built both in publicly-accessible areas that are privately owned as well as in public spaces. Different apps from car manufacturers, charging station operators and mobility service providers help find the fastest way to the next charging point. The federal government will support the accelerated expansion of the charging infrastructure with 300 million euros.
